Falls Church, VA—IBA, along with CTA partner Deloitte, won a new contract with the Defense Health Agency (DHA) to provide program management support for the Deputy Assistant Director, Information Operations (DAD IO/J-6) Solution Delivery Division (SDD). With this award, IBA will support DAD/IO J-6 and SDD in improving their capability to meet DHA strategic initiatives and achieve mission objectives. This four-year contract represents the continuation of current support services as well as expanded program management services in IBA’s DHA market. Under this award, valued at $101 million, IBA will provide support in the areas of program and project management, engineering and testing, Agile/DevOps, configuration management, requirements management, acquisition management, contracting, administration, defense medical logistics, and others.
IBA has over two decades of continuous support for SDD and its predecessor components. IBA was at the forefront of decommissioning the SDD legacy systems and has also been instrumental in implementing the Agile methodology and its principles across the DHA (as evidenced by our SDD Agile Playbook). Our in-depth corporate experience and expertise, combined with our integration of innovative solutions, allow us to help DHA DAD/IO J-6 and SDD produce greater operational efficiencies throughout the transition to MHS GENESIS. IBA is excited for the opportunity to support DHA DAD/IO J-6 and SDD in their mission to uphold the directives of NDAA 2017 and 2019 through the MHS GENESIS transition, implementation, and sustainment.
Upon news of IBA’s win, IBA President Mary Dowdall said, “This contract has been a long time in the making, and we are excited about the opportunity it presents for the company. A tremendous amount of work went into establishing this omnibus contract for the DHA DAD/IO J-6 and SDD. I’m sincerely grateful to our team and our customers for making it happen!”
