IBA Awarded New Contract to Provide Support Services to Veterans Affairs Kiosk Program
FALLS CHURCH, VA, June 7, 2010 –
IBA was awarded a new subcontract to provide support services to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA). Specifically, IBA will provide program management services and documentation to support the development of the Veterans Affairs Point-of-Service Kiosk pilot program in Austin, Texas.
Kiosks serve as point-of-service devices for many industries and are becoming a more accepted method for efficient and effective performance of business and patient management functions within the health care industry. The VHA identifies kiosks as an innovation that will enable VA health care facilities to enhance services to veterans, improve the efficiency of patient flow, and improve the collection of information.
IBA is partnering with Genesis Concepts & Consultants, a Small Disadvantaged 8(a) Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned company based in San Antonio, Texas for this contract.
