IBA Names Sarah Djuric as New Vice President of Operations
FALLS CHURCH, VA, June 11, 2010 –
Sarah Djuric Irving Burton Associates, Inc. (IBA) announced today that Sarah Djuric will become IBA’s new Vice President of Operations. Sarah officially began serving as Vice President of Operations on June 1, 2010. As Vice President, Sarah will work directly with clients, manage IBA contracts, oversee customer partnerships, and continue to provide operational support within IBA. She will further capitalize on her leadership experience in management. She will be key in establishing and implementing organizational policies, goals, objectives, procedures, and provide fiscal input and improvement assessments. Sarah will continue to build on IBA’s reputation for customer satisfaction - and as leaders in program management and information technology solutions for government and commercial entities. For Sarah, this new position as Vice President of Operations is an exciting change. She began preparing for this level of leadership a long time ago. Having started with IBA in 1998 and serving as both an IBA Team Lead and IBA Managing Team Lead – she is well prepared. “I am honored and excited to expand my responsibilities and help pave the way for new opportunities. It’s truly a privilege to continue to develop my career here at IBA. I am looking forward to working closely with our teams to continue to build our company. Being a part of the IBA family allows me to work with the best of the best” says Sarah. Sarah comes from an operations background, having worked her way up in the company. She began her journey with IBA in 1998 as a fresh-faced energetic college graduate working as a Quality Manager supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) Military Health System Process Improvement Program. In this role, Sarah quickly excelled by implementing a program-wide Quality Management System. She also designed, implemented and managed a web-based process management tool to document and monitor processes within the former DoD Executive Information Decision Support (EIDS) Program Office. Additionally, as IBA Task Manager for the former Clinical Information Technology Program Office (CITPO) and the Defense Health Information Management System (DHIMS), she assisted with managing all aspects of IBA’s performance under a program management support contract for CITPO and DHIMS. This includes providing business and administrative planning, organization, direction, maintaining staffing plans, assisting with the preparation of contract deliverables and coordination and control to accomplish the contract requirements for CITPO and DHIMS.
“I’ve had the honor and privilege of working with Sarah for many years on various projects. Her commitment and passion to IBA’s mission are unmatched. Sarah’s enthusiasm, dedication, experience, and employee-focused leadership style make her a great fit for this position. She brings valuable skills to our executive leadership team,” says Chief Operating Officer Mary Dowdall.
Sarah holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology/Health and Human Services from Marymount University. In 2005, she earned her certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. She is also a senior member of the American Society of Quality (ASQ). In 2007, Sarah graduated from IBA’s Emerging Leaders Program - a formal mentoring program that connects the new generation of IBA leadership with IBA senior executives.
