IBA Wins New Follow-On Contract Supporting the Defense Health Information Management System
FALLS CHURCH, VA, July 20, 2010 –
Irving Burton Associates, Inc. (IBA) is delighted to announce the award of the follow-on task order in support of the garrison healthcare information technology products and projects managed under the auspices of the Defense Health Information Management System (DHIMS) program office.
This award provides for program management and product oversight services for the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA), Composite Health Care System (CHCS) and Essentris products.
AHLTA is the military's electronic health record and an enterprise-wide medical clinical information system that generates, maintains, stores and provides secure online access to over 9.6 million beneficiary records within the Department of Defense (DoD) Military Health System (MHS). Both CHCS and Essentris are key components of the Military’s IT infrastructure.
