IBA Promotes Children’s Reading as It Launches Third Company-Wide Back to School Book Drive
FALLS CHURCH, VA, July 27, 2010 –
Irving Burton Associates, Inc. (IBA), a professional management and IT consulting firm, is partnering with First Book this school year to host a virtual book drive and provide brand new books to children in need.
The IBA Virtual Book Drive will take place from August 11th - September 15th. IBA plans to match all employee donations during the book drive, which will be collected online at www.firstbook.org/IBA.
“IBA strongly supports programs like First Book because it allows us to give back to our community and invest in future generations,” says IBA CEO/President, Anna Ryan. “Reading is the key to achieving your dreams. We felt like an online book drive is an excellent way to make a difference and empower our next generation of leaders. ”
IBA began its partnership with First Book in 2006. The IBA-First Book partnership has helped more than 3,000 students by providing over 17,500 brand new books to children in need. This summer the firm will continue its efforts to provide new books directly to school children in need by supporting local schools in its four main office locations of Falls Church, VA; Frederick, MD; Denver, CO; and Huntsville, AL.
