IBA Employee Named Project Manager of the Year
FALLS CHURCH, VA, January 5, 2010 –
 Mike Landry
Management Institute, Washington DC Chapter (PMIWDC) conferred its top Project Management award to Mike Landry of Irving Burton Associates. Mr. Landry, the IBA Chief Project Controller for the Defense Health Services Systems (DHSS) Program Office, was presented with the 2009 Project Manager of the Year (PMOTY) in front of the year-end business function.
"Mike is a wealth of information on project management best practices and techniques," said Sam Strulson, IBA Task Manager for DHSS. "Mike developed process manuals, process guides, and templates for specific project management practices that resulted in significant enhancements to project planning and risk management activities for our DHSS Client."
The award selection committee faced the difficult task of having to measure high caliber candidates against very demanding selection standards. Forty-three (43) nominations were received. Those that passed the evaluation criteria and received top scoring progressed to the final rounds, which resulted in three (3) top candidates, from which Mike Landry was selected as the Project Manager of the Year.

It truly is an exciting event for the chapter and the PM community."
